This is an easy and very delicious way of preparing schnitzel. There is no frying involved either. Children of all ages love it, and sometimes refer to it as “Red Shnitzel” because that’s the color it becomes! I made it once for a Sheva Brochos, and made A LOT,
thinking I would send some home with the chosson and kallah, but there wasn’t a piece left! So when you make it, make sure to overestimate how much you need.

We made it for sheva brochos and overestimated as you suggested, but there was a ton left. We had it for Shabbos, and there is still left! But it is still delicious.

Do you bake the schnitzels for 1/2 hour without sauce and then pour sauce over and bake for another 20-30 minutes? Doesn't the schnitzel get dried up this way?
