Do you know what it means to be creative? When I think creative I think Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts,... and Brynie Greisman! I remember walking in to Dunkin Donuts right after they got a hashgacha and being absolutely blown away by the array of shelf after shelf of different colors and styles. And the flavors that Baskin Robbins came up with in the days when most people's imagination couldn't grasp anything beyond vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Forget about the genius needed in inventing all those flavors, I can't even manage to remember five of them.
This is why I tip my hat to Brynie Greisman and place her right up there in the creative Hall of Fame together with those American icons. In fact I think Brynie single-handedly has outdone those gigantic corporation and all the brains stocked in their boardroom. I mean we are talking about a muffin after all. 50 flavors! Brynie you are too much! And your not going to believe this, they're all whole wheat and lo-fat and you'd never know. Great idea for after birth as well - treat a friend and she'll be so thankful for such healthful yummy treats!!!! They taste amazing!!!!!!! But it doesn't end there. How about 10 kinds of biscotti (and I think this is only the beginning), cheesecakes and other baked delicacies.
If you've been in Seminary in Israel you've definitely tasted one of Brynie's treats from her booming enterprise called Tasty Lo-Fat Creations. The rest of you surely know Brynie from Mishpacha Magazine where she is regular contributor. You know, those gorgeous pictures and delicious recipe that makes us run out each week to pick it up as soon as it comes out.
Well now you have another place to see Brynie and even interact with her, as we are honored that she opened up her own recipe box right here on Culinary Kosher. You can check out her first recipe (Muffin of course, Blueberry Streusel Muffins) right here.
