Mother's Day Weekend Shabbat Gourmet Dinner

Details:5 couples each contributed a special dish to make this a shabbat culinary party. Our menu was printed and put in a frame near the table to give credit to each cook. We continue to meet rotating homes and hostesses. Our kids are grown and as empty nesters we enjoy the company of like-minded gourmands.

Roasted Red Pepper Soup
Fire-roasted peppers pureed into a vegetable elixir

Marinated Roasted Sliced Veal
Marinated and Smoked to Perfection

Chicken Pallards Marsala
Scallops of breast with wine and mushrooms

Wild Pilaf 
with herbs, nuts, and berries

D'var Torah, Tea and Cake
