Description:For every Yom Tov, we always have at least one "beef" seuda, with a roast or brisket. On three day Yomim Tovim, it's very heavy to have all of the seudos being meat, so sometimes it's nice to have a very elegant fish seuda. Try this menu. Included is mock liver (to make you think you're having fleishig), vegetable soup, poached halibut with wild rice and chestnuts, elegant coleslaw and blueberry crumble cake (milchig) or pear and honey cake for dessert. *** I have to apologize. I made this menu with Mona's mock liver, which includes nuts. Many people may use nuts, but since my family does not use nuts from R"H until Yom Kippur, I would not use that appetizer. Substitute with delicate fruit cups or individual salads in glass dessert bowls.
