Description:With Shabbos and many Yomim Tovim meals starting quite late in the evening, during the day there are usually quite a bunch of people in the kitchen clamoring for FOOD. On Erev Shabbos you can go the usual kugel-chulent route, however if you want more variety (especially for Yom Tov) the tidbits suggested below don't take all that long to prepare (some can be prepared a couple of days in advance) and the "leftovers" can be used to supplement the regular Seudas on Shabbos-YT. As a matter of fact, I recommend deliberately overestimating how much you'll need Erev, so you can use these recipes on Shabbos-YT as well- sorta like killing two birds with one stone ;).
