Just curious, why is this dish called "popcorn" chicken? Does it look like/ taste like popcorn?

good question, no good answer! that is what it was called in the recipe so i kept the name! It doesn't really look like popcorn and I am not sure how it tastes like popcorn but it does taste amazing and really isnt hard to make, definitely worth doing!
