Broccoli And Garlic Penne Pasta milchig Parve Or Fleishig
If youwant something light, yet flavorful for dinner, this is the recipe for you. Fresh vegetables, punchy garlic and savory Parmesan cheese give this simple dish unbelievable depth of flavor.
1 cup prepared parve chicken flavored consume
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups broccoli florets (I use frozen thawed)
1/2 of a 1-pound package penne pasta (about 3 cups), cooked and drained
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Helpful Hints
Use real chicken broth, and serve as a side for grilled/ backed chicken cutlets (without the cheese of course!)

Broccoli isn't the only vegetable that works beautifully in this recipe! Others to try include garden-fresh green beans or a mixture of summer squash and zucchini.
