A bit different form ceviche from other countries, I got this recipe while living in Mexico. It can be made with fresh fish, canned solid tuna fish, or Jicama. If desired, you can add some diced avocado.

1 medium sized bottle of Heinz ketchup – 24 oz
limes (juice from fresh limes – DON’T use bottled juice)
½ t Tabasco sauce
1 onion – finely diced
½ t Maggi sauce
2 small soft tomatoes – chopped in small pieces
1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
jalapeno chiles – cut in small pieces (to taste) – can use the marinated chile from cans
1 small jar Spanish Olives – cut in halves
1 heaping t Osem (chicken bouillon)
1 1/2 small cans of solid tuna – cut into chunks*
saltine type crackers for eating with ceviche

That's not ceviche. The fish is already cooked and canned. Ceviche call for unprocessed fish and it is "cooked" in the lime juice. I would question the culinary skills of someone who would suggest using processed fish for "ceviche."
