The is a wonderful side dish that is a little different. Try also serving it for an entree.

I would like to know the amount for half a jar of Dijonaise? They come in different sizes. Can you measure it out for us.

do they sell the mini tart shells in israel? if not is there a substitute?
skittels18, 2011-03-10
I might have seen them, I really can't remember. If you want you could make your own tart dough (not sweet) and then use it in mini tart shells.

ok can you recommend an appropriate tart dough recipe? thanks!

I have a recipe for quiche dough that would work very well. http://culinarykosher.com/recipe/Shabbos-Yom%20Tov-Succos/Quiche-Dough/778

how many tarts per serving?
pippa, 2012-02-28
I think 1 per person is enough.

cant find mini tarts around here- would it work in a 9 inch pie crust?
cgo, 2012-05-22
I will be honest, I never made them in a big pie crust.

i've experimented and this recipe also works well when replacing the pastrami with smoked salmon and omitting the salt since smoked salmon is anyway salty. I serve this as appetizer with a slice of gefilte fish and garnish

I made this for the Purim seudah last year with lots of guests and it was a hit. Thanks! The quiche dough you recommended worked well for the mini pie crusts. I made 5, 6" ones and served one per person for the entree.
