I have wanted to make this recipe for a while, but for some reason never got around to it. This year I made it as a side dish for my daughter's seudah. I know that this is more of a dessert since it has chocolate, but it was a Bas Mitzvah after all.
Crumble Filling:
5 apples, thinly sliced
5 pears, peeled and sliced thinly
dash of cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. potato starch
2 oz. chocolate (broken into small pieces)

6-7 Tbsp. oil
1 cup potato starch
1 cup ground almonds
1 cup light brown (or white) sugar
Broken pecan pieces

I clipped this recipe from the Ami or Mishpacha magazine and made it on pesach. We licked the pan. It didn't taste pesachdig. It was delicious.
