WHERE THE ONLY THING SMOKING IS YOUR DESIRE FOR MORE! MY ELDEST SON WAS A BAD EATER AND WHEN WE FOUND SOMETHING HE LIKED WE MADE IT BY THE TRUCKLOAD! TO THIS DAY MY NEPHEW FROM AMERICA STILL REMEMBERS THOSE CIGARS HE LIVED ON IN SOUTH AFRICA ON A VISIT 20 YEARS AGO!! PURIM JUST SEEMS TO BE THE PERFECT TIME TO RELAX WITH A PERSIAN CIGAR!
 
Ingredients
1 large onion, finely grated
1 tsp crushed garlic
little oil for frying
500g ground beef (minced meat)
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp dried parsley
1/3 cup tomato sauce
salt and pepper
1 X 16 0z (500g) phyllo pastry

Helpful Hints
They can also be fried in oil over medium heat. Watch them carefully as they can burn quickly.

Serve with a sweet chilli sauce or Humus and techina or eggplant dip (Babaganoosh).
