This has a marinade based dressing as opposed to the usual mayo. I like to make it with mini pasta, when I find it; looks cuter and somehow tastes a bit different.

Ingredients
1 lb tricolor or mini pasta, cooked according to pkg directions
2 red/yellow/orange peppers, cubed
1 can chic peas, rinsed and drained
1-2 handfuls olives
1 small red onion, finely diced
1/2 cup garlic Italian dressing, or to taste

Helpful Hints
The original recipe called for a homemade dressing that was a bit more involved. I usually opt for the easy way out in cooking, as long as the taste isn't compromised. I used Pfeiffer's Zesty Garlic Italian Dressing with fabulous results, but here's the original dressing for those who don't go for bottled dressing:
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp prepared mustard
2 minced garlic cloves
3 T. honey
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup oil
black pepper to taste
