These can be made either as large turnovers which can be served with a mushroom sauce or dill sauce, or in mini size which can be served alongside a pretty green salad with dill dressing.
They freeze very well and can easily be rewarmed uncovered on a cookie sheet till heated and crisped up a bit.

Ingredients
1 15 oz can canned salmon
1 small onion or leek, diced
1 small carrot, grated
1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
2 heaping T. mayo (I use lite)
black pepper and garlic powder, to taste
little less than 2 package frozen puff pastry squares (either the 10 pk of large squares or the 36 pk mini squares)
1 egg + 1 T. water, whisked- for glazing
sesame seeds for garnish

Helpful Hints
For a delicious no fuss dill sacue to nap the turnovers or dress salad with: I usually buy a good quality dill sauce from the take out and thin with water to drizzle consistency then adjust seasonings.
