I used prepared fillo dough. Original recipe called for filling uncooked manicotti noodles with ground chicken mixture. You can use the same procedure using noodles, if you prefer.

Helpful Hints
I blended the raw potatoes, onion, eggs and oil in the food processor. After, I mixed this into the ground chicken. This may be better using only 2 eggs - it will be less loose.

So am i to understand from this recipe, that you use an entire package of fill for this one roll and do not brush with any oil or margarine between sheets?

I used 1 kg. of fillo dough. I was able to divide the dough into 8 parts. I did not brush with oil, just put the chicken filling along the edges of the dough and rolled jelly-roll fashion. Baking was about 1 hour, perhaps a little more. The last time I made it, I used mushroom sauce instead of the veggies. Served 20 people by slicing into 1 1/2 inch pieces. This was appetizer.
