There's something wrong with the amount of yeast called for in this recipe. It says 3 tablespoons of yeast -- that is way too much for a recipe that only has 6 - 7 cups of flour. The dough will explode.

I have a similar recipe that also calls for 3 tablespoons + 1 tsp dry yeast and 6 cups flour, but it calls for more water - 3 cups cold water. This makes 4 12- inch pizzas. The dough does not explode. There are also other hints that call for stretching the dough for a thin pizza or rolling it thicker if the children like a thicker dough.
