I got this recipe from my grandmother years ago and my family loves it. It's easy, tastes great, and has no vegetables.
 
Ingredients
¼ cup oil
¼ cup water
¼ teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon sugar
¾ cup flour (add last)

Helpful Hints
This recipe can be doubled, tripled etc and frozen. I usually freeze the logs in aluminum foil as it's easier to handle and then remove from foil and put in parchment paper before putting into cholent - parchment paper allows flavor to cook in better. If you do multiply the recipe, careful with the flour, you probably won't need all of it unless you like dry kishka. I usually end up putting in a bit less for a moister consistency.

Would it work gluten free, i.e. using potato starch instead of flour, and if so, what would the amount be for the potato startch?
